I was given a practically brand new Keurig by a friend because this particular piece was missing and he just went and bought another machine. This replacement part was exactly what I needed. It arrived in just a few days. I popped it in the machine and it works great. This particular Keurig recognizes if you do not have an original Keurig universal filter, but you can by pass that by opening and closing it again, sometimes it took 2 or 3 times. So I finally just bought the original Keurig universal filter and have kept the others for my older Keurig in our guest area.

  ★★★☆☆ At first I thought I would love this reusable my kcup. It made a decent cup of coffee using my regular coffee. I used two to three tablespoons of coffee and it was fine. The one thing I didn't like was having to wash out the my kcup after each cup I made. The grinds get all stuck in it and it was not that easy to clean. You will save money using regular coffee but it was a hassle to me to have to remove it and clean it and then put it back together., after each cup.
